Mrs. Assma al-Assad on Thursday  honored 22 women in Lattakia  who had accepted the challenge and successfully launched their own small enterprises.

During the ceremony Mrs. Assma al-Assad distributed certificates for 22 women who have successfully improved their career and income and become businesswomen .

Mrs .al-Assad underlined that the  importance of the small enterprises experience  is not only  reflected  in the improvement of the income of the individual but also give them  means to their own management skills

Worthy mentioning that the Incubator of Rural Women Businesses , is the fruit of cooperation and funding by the European Union and the International Fund for Agricultural Development , IFAD.
